PAX / FIELD MANUAL

Pax Autocratica weapons, soldiers, and cores: the list

Pax Autocratica weapons list: every soldier type, gun, and roguelite core named in the official patch notes, plus the ten-slot core limit and difficulty tiers.

Every soldier, weapon, and core below is named in official sources: the developers' patch notes and the Steam store page. This is a roster of what exists, not a tier list: the game is in Early Access with active balance patches, so this wiki publishes confirmed names and leaves builds to your runs.

Soldier types

  • Sniper
  • Berserker
  • Medic
  • Shieldmaster
  • Cluster Shotgunner
  • Strike Squad
  • Sattleri Energist: named in the August 11, 2026 maintenance directive (its lightning effects were fixed there)
  • Mechanical soldiers: referenced as a category in the official notes

Soldier management also changed during Early Access: Directive AG-12 (August 12, 2026) added a soldier-aging toggle, exile for soldiers, and lowered soldier upgrade point costs; the August 11 directive made Special Creator Soldiers renamable.

Scourgeborn hostile units

The enemy biofaction fields these named combat units:

  • Gladiator
  • Gunfighter
  • Musketeer
  • Blaster
  • Berserker
  • Ravager
  • Chief Ravager
  • Gunner
  • Swift Blade

Weapons

  • Nebula Pistol
  • Nebula Assault Rifle
  • NAT SMG
  • Defensive Shotgun
  • Gratov Quantum Longbow
  • Bioplasma Shotgun
  • Bowblaster
  • Starfire Bowblaster
  • Laser Rifle
  • Electro Thunder
  • Dagger: the starting melee weapon

Cores (roguelite fragments)

Collected during expeditions and slotted up to a limit of ten:

  • Vortex Shell
  • Thunderbolt Arrow
  • Guided Bolts
  • Void Detonation
  • Orb Resonance
  • Shield Rupture
  • Power Shift
  • The Missile series
  • Electric-Bouncer
  • Toxic Fog
  • Capture Lock: an active skill
  • Leader's Inspiration: a war-room active skill

Directive AG-14 (August 15, 2026) buffed the Vortex Shell and Thunderbolt Arrow cores. Per the store page, Weapon Cores reshape how your guns handle, Combination Cores create synergies between core sets, and other cores strengthen your troops, or turn them into sacrificial shields.

Difficulty tiers

Relaxed, Lenient, Standard, Demanding, and Punishing, plus a custom option.

Why there is no tier list here

Balance is explicitly why the developers chose Early Access: their own Steam answers say so. Any build ranking would be stale within a patch or two. For the named bosses and battlefields these tools face, read the bosses guide; for how the arsenal has changed patch to patch, the patch notes guide keeps the dated log.

Sources and verification

  • Primary source: the official Steam news feed: Directives AG-12 and AG-14 and the demo-era notes carry the soldier, weapon, and core names.
  • Store page: Pax Autocratica on Steam. The core-system descriptions (Weapon Cores, Combination Cores, soldier cores) and the Early Access answers on balance.
