The Pax Autocratica roadmap exists in two forms: standing commitments from the Steam Early Access answers, and the developer's "State of the Frontline" report of August 13, 2026. This page tracks only written official statements: every item below cites its source announcement. The launch-day post of August 10, 2026 also carried a roadmap image; images cannot be text-verified, so this page links to the announcement instead of transcribing it.
The standing Early Access commitments
From the developers' Early Access answers on the Steam store page:
- The Early Access period is expected to last about two years, adjusted for development progress and player feedback.
- The price will increase when the game leaves Early Access.
- Co-op is a planned major feature of the Early Access period: the developers describe it as a key feature they intend to develop during Early Access.
No full-release date has been announced.
Four high-priority work streams
The "State of the Frontline" report (August 13, 2026) names four areas the developers marked as high priority and already in progress:
- Capture and prisoner conversion: the current experience lacks depth and can be frustrating; the developers are reworking the whole loop.
- Expedition variety: addressing repetition by improving variety, pacing, and rewards, and reducing grinding.
- Soldier behavior and battle controls: better following, positioning, and target selection.
- Guidance and clarity: some mechanics, interfaces, and objectives are explained poorly; improving them is a stated priority.
Under investigation
The same report lists work the developers describe as being worked on or investigated: mod support, co-op, male and female soldier visual differences, stylized avatars, more customization options, player camera height, and a Steam Deck virtual-keyboard issue. "Investigating" is not a promise: treat these as possibilities, not commitments.
Already shipped from player feedback
Feedback-driven changes that already shipped in the first week of Early Access:
- Soldier-aging toggle, exile for soldiers, automatic save backups, and manual deposit quantities: all in Directive AG-12 (August 12, 2026).
- Renaming for Special Creator Soldiers: August 11, 2026.
The patch notes guide tracks each directive in detail.
How this page stays honest
The roadmap picture of August 10 cannot be checked line by line, so it is not quoted here. Everything on this page comes from dated written announcements, and each claim links to its source. When the developers publish new roadmap statements, this page is recalibrated against them.
