If Pax Autocratica crashes or runs poorly, the developers publish a three-step fix that has already resolved many players' issues. The steps come from the official "State of the Frontline" report of August 13, 2026, and are reproduced here exactly: no community workarounds, only the official path.
The official three steps
- Verify the game files in Steam. Library → right-click Pax Autocratica → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.
- Turn off Super Resolution (DLSS) if it is enabled.
- Turn off Frame Generation if it is enabled.
The developers state these steps have solved many players' problems. If your issue survives all three, they ask you to bring it to the official Discord for individual investigation; email to contact@multiverseinc.com is the alternative.
Crash fixes already shipped in patches
Two launch-window crashes were addressed directly in patches:
- Directive AG-12 (August 12, 2026) fixed a crash involving FSR frame generation in borderless windowed mode.
- Directive AG-14 (August 15, 2026) shipped another attempted fix for FSR-enabled crashes.
The patch notes guide tracks each fix as directives land. If you use FSR, updating to the latest patch before anything else is the documented first move.
Photosensitivity warning
The store page carries an official warning: the game contains flashing lights that may make it unsuitable for people with photosensitive epilepsy or other photosensitive conditions. Player discretion is advised.
Avoid fake "fixes"
The developers warned on January 21, 2026 that scam sites and payment fraud exist around the game; only paxautocratica.com (no hyphen) is their official site. Third-party "crash fix" downloads, DLLs, or paid support are not official and should not be trusted. The three steps above and the official channels are the whole documented path.
